That's why, at the Clip Joint, we built our business around personalization and unique care for each customer. We give our dogs time to romp and play between every stage of the grooming time. Our pets get the chance to socialize, play and take potty breaks, so their time with us is always a positive experience.

Grooming
Our groomers share over 50 years of grooming experience, and we put that experience to work making sure every dog leaves the Clip Joint looking their best. Every dog has a unique coat and structure, and our groomers know exactly how to make each breed's unique styles work for them.
All of our dogs receive baths before their groom in order to clean their coats of any excess oils and dirt: clean hair lays differently than dirty hair, and it ensures an even groom.
Our attention to detail and our consideration of clients' requests set us apart. We pride ourselves on our flexibility: every time you come in, we'll ask what you'd like, and how we can improve our work so it fits you and your pet.
Our dogs are free to roam the shop and socialize both before and after their prep, bath and groom, so a day at the groomers is a little more like a day at the spa.

Tidy-Ups
Tidy-ups are quicker grooms meant to maintain a dog's coat and style. We'll trim and shape the feet, ears and face without taking any length off the body in order to keep your pet looking their best.
Our tidy-ups include a bath and hygiene check - ears, glands & nails - and are best for dogs with shorter coats or specialty styles which need more frequent maintenance.

Baths
Bathing the dog may conjure up images of garden hoses and shampoo, but at the Clip Joint it's more of a science.
Our bathers have dozens of specialty and medicated shampoos and conditioners at their disposal, and together with the groomers decide on which one is best for your furry friend's skin and coat. If you're dog has prescription shampoo from a vet, or you just like the smell of a specific shampoo, you're welcome to bring it in and we'll be happy to use it instead.
We use no-tear shampoo around the eyes to make sure the bath is as comfortable and safe for your pet as possible.
